Our hand held cable fault finder checks for opens and shorts, measures the distance to the faults and measures the amount of cable left on an open spool. The PowerTone™ feature of ShortStop™ injects a tone into the wire pair that allows for physical tracing of the cable, and provides for ABSOLUTE POSITIVE identification of the far end of the wire pair. The ShortStop™ model JTE1001 is UL listed and is protected against damage from accidental connection to 250 VAC.
