Applications:

Designed to house electrical and electronic controls, instruments and components in areas which may be subject to hose down or are otherwise wet. Designed for use in areas where serious corrosion problems exist. Suitable for use outdoors, or in dairies, petrochemical plants, sewage plants, food processing plants, packing plants, marine environments and similar installations. UV stabilized for indoor and outdoor.

Features:

  • The frame is formed of pultruded polyester profiles containing 70% long-stranded glass fibers.
  • Doors and panels are made of gray (RAL 7036) hot compression-molded fiberglass reinforced polyester.
  • Doors are mounted on internal hinges and have a five-point latch system. Keyed and padlockable handles available.
  • Front, rear and side access doors available.
  • The polyester profiles partitioning the doors are easily removed to facilitate the incorporation of electrical equipment, and modular adjustable interior framework is available.
  • Gasketed and bonded windows can be installed to provide easy visual inspection of interior components.
  • Free standing or modular design, corrosion resistant throughout and maintenance free.
  • Can withstand wide temperature range: -58ºF to +248ºF (-50ºC to +150ºC), momentary +392ºF (200ºC)
  • Provide optimum safety and security because they feature total insulation and degree of protection IP55-11 according to IEC 529.
  • UL listed & CSA certified for type 3, 3R, 4, 4X,12 & 13

  1. Decide which size of basic module is best suited to your application (double or triple doors according to height needed).
  2. Decide number of modules needed (openings between adjacent modules unobstructed).
  3. Cubicles are delivered with vertical stiles, adjustable in depth by use of horizontal support bars.
  4. Custom versions on request (e. g. modules provided with rainhood, side doors, etc.)

The framework is made up from pultruded sections of fiberglass (with 70% by weight of glass fiber). The corners are braced with interior fitted (and fully sealed) metal brackets. This gives an extremely strong and rigid structure.
Hot compression molded doors and panels are then added, complete with neoprene gasketing. Front, side or rear mount doors available.

Modular system construction.

  • Because of the modular design, for ease of handling and transprotation, large units are supplied as separate cells.
  • The size of single cells can be selected by combining the basid modules as shown above.
  • Cells are easily assembled on site. Separate cells may however be readily equipped in Vynckier's facility on request.
