Punchdown Tool

Paladin improved the design of their SurePunch™ tool to make it more efficient and even more comfortable to use. The SurePunch™ Pro is the FIRST AND ONLY punchdown tool to have a detachable light making it easy to work in dark cabinets and buildings without power. Gone are the days of holding a flashlight in your teeth as you work!

Other improvements include a shorter handle and a spring mechanism requiring less hand force to actuate. Blades are available to terminate and cut 28-22 AWG solid or stranded wire cable into a variety of termination panels.

Paladin's SurePunch™ Pro features:

  • Detachable light with long-life LED specially designed to focus the light on the panel work area.
  • Luminous intensity of the LED is 2200 mcd.
  • Finger grips and non-slip rubber-embedded cushioned handle for comfort.
  • Multi-use spudger that can be used as a screwdriver or an IDC contact insertion tool.
  • Hook to feed wire through holes.
  • Pick to separate bonded twisted pair cables or to strip insulation and cut wire.
  • Adjustable HI/LO spring compression for all cable types (LO=27.5 lbs, HI=37.5 lbs)
  • Blades twist and lock into place and accepts other manufacturers' twist-and-lock style blades.
