16 Bay Managed Media Converter Chassis |

| UNICOM's new Smart-Chassis/16 is a fully manageable
media chassis accommodating up to 16 Gigabit and Fast Ethernet converter
modules in a single unit. The included CPU module provides SNMP management
options such as Web-based access, IP address security, and Link Loss
Forwarding (LLF). The Smart-Chassis/16 also features redundant power
supply capability. All CPU, Gigabit, and Fast Ethernet modules are hot-swappable
providing minimal system downtime. The 16 bay chassis includes one CPU
module, two 19" rack mounting brackets, and one power supply. 110/220V,
19"Rackmount. |

Unicom's VELOCITY™ Series represents the newest, most advanced
generation of signal conversion technology.
These converters transform your 10/100/1000Base-T copper network to 1000Base-LX/SX
fiber optic and expands the fiber link up to 10 km (Single Mode in Full Duplex
mode).
The 10/100/1000T/1000LX/SX Converters offer the most popular fiber cabling connector:
SC format in Multi-mode and Single Mode. The UTP port supports the Auto MDI/MDIX
function and there are five LEDs for diagnosis and maintenance. These converters
can be used in Unicom¹s 10 bay media chassis or as stand-alone components.

The 1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX Converters provide pure conversion.
No internal buffering is needed therefore there is no signal delay between
1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX (copper to fiber). The UTP ports support
the Auto MDI/MDIX function and front LEDs assist in diagnosis and maintenance.
The Velocity Pure Gigabit Fiber Converters are a cost-effective solution
for the conversion of 1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX cabling and are perfect
for equipment performance testing. They can be used in UnicomÕs
